Here & Now is a performance-based artwork that consists of the artist and their head cast into ice. These photographs document them clutching and interacting with the face over a period of time as it slowly begins to melt and loses its recognisable form and features. The piece's intimacy and the constant deterioration of the ice help to feed into a sensation of impermanence and loss within the work.
