Perambulate is a sound installation and performance exhibited at Slades Park in Bournemouth. Projected from a portable speaker, the piece functioned as an installation piece within the exhibition space and as a live performance carried around the park.

The work involved collecting and layering everyday noises generated by the park and its community to create a composition of walking through the park. When exhibited within the park, Perambulate continues to collaborate with and rebound off the noises and architecture present in the park, heightening the audience's awareness of their aural surroundings.

Within the work, Rebecca wanted to communicate the transformed ways the body experiences the body and the world around it, resulting from neurodiversity. The heavy layering of various sounds results in an at times overwhelming sensory experience.
